This week’s latest news on the album progress is some Doug Strahan guitar additions being added at 12th Street Studio in Austin… 2 more weeks ’til Quenby is back there tying up the final touches.

…for those that will make it to Stanley or MAP, the first one to mention this week’s featured song ‘Falling Off Horses’ to Quenby when you hear it played, wins a free Quenby & WOW band coozie.

‘Falling Off Horses’ was actually a commissioned song (by the Film Commission of Smithville, TX) slated to be the title track of the yet to be made movie of the same name! This song character comes through a personal transformation to discover..

I’ve been chained to the machine
scrapping for my bit o’ green
sacrificing every friend who slows my stride
had no time for a wife and kids
lost my job and hit the skids.
It’s time I find my own place to OCCUPY…
I’d rather be falling off horses ~ than climbing the corporate ladder!

Word was that Jackson Hole this last weekend was rockin’ with fun had by all. Thanks for coming out!

Cheers! ~~~Heidi
